The Modern Long Board, or THE MLB is the best choice for the all-around or everyday surfer. It has a fuller template, transition 60/40 rails, double barrel bottom and a nose concave nose for some tip time. We add the standard two plus one fin set up for quick turns and better holding to the face of the wave.

Glassing on the MLB is 6 oz on the bottom and a combined 6 plus 4 oz on the deck.

Sizing for the MLB is from 8'6" to 10.'0"

Optimum size on this board is; 9'4" X 22" X 2 7/8"

For Fins we like the Wingnut Cut Away 8" by Rainbow Fin Company and a set of FCS GL side bites.

The tail is a small "Pro-Squash" even though a square or rounded pin work equally well. You might also try a small swallow tail.
